Good morning
RSPB sides with animal rights extremists: It has come to light that a recent investigation into burning on peatlands failed to find any conclusive evidence of illegal activity, and that their claims are a gross misrepresentation of the facts. Adrian Blackmore from the Countryside Alliance's Campaign for Shooting has the update. Click here to read more.

Devon: Polly Portwin of the Alliance's Campaign for Hunting has accused the League Against Cruel Sports (LACS) of running a 'divisive', 'time wasting' campaign in Devon to end trail hunting. The story was covered by Devon Live in response to a poorly attended LACS 'action day' in Tiverton. The League's campaign comes in the wake of a recent Tiverton Town Council vote which saw local councillors overwhelmingly reject a motion to ban the annual boxing day meet. The Alliance contacted councillors prior to the vote to outline the importance of trail hunting locally. The Campaign for Hunting will continue to monitor any and all developments closely.
